No. It has become a fascist dictatorship according to the textbooks. It is a corporate/government partnership where, in coordinated collusion, each does the things forbidden to the other.
And for the last year and a half, laws have been mere edicts from Governors and Presidents (Unless your last name is Trump)
They literally -dictate- the law to us, and the rights of the individual are crushed wherever the government sees them.
Older generations die off, taking their memories that it wasn't always like this, and didn't have to be.
I expect the Left will want to erase all old movies, not for their messages, but for their depiction of life.
I've lately been watching a lot of older (1960s, 1970s) TV shows and films. Apart from the stories, I enjoy watching the people, the clothes, their nicer manners. Women in neat clothes, no tattoos or piercings or foul mouths. What was considered "raunchy" back then would be prudish today.
