Indiana University Health, the biggest hospital system in the state, has announced that 125 staff members are no longer employed there after refusing to comply with the organization’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
“Indiana University Health has put the safety and well-being of patients and team members first by requiring employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Sept. 1,” IU Health said in a Sept. 16 statement. “After a two-week unpaid suspension period ending Sept. 14, a total of 125 employees, the equivalent of 61 full-time employees, chose not to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and have left the organization.”
While the statement did not specify whether the workers quit or were fired, a spokesperson for IU Health told Newsweek that the employees who refused to get the shot resigned.
The Epoch Times has reached out to IU Health with a request for confirmation whether the employees quit or were terminated, but did not receive an immediate response.
“Most of the employees who chose not to be vaccinated worked part time, less than part time or have not worked for a number of months and will have a minimal effect on staffing,” the spokesperson told Newsweek, adding that, as of Friday, all employees at IU Health were compliant with the vaccine mandate.
IU Health, which operates 15 hospitals and dozens of outpatient clinics around the state, employs around 36,000 staff members.
Two weeks ago, IU Health announced that around 300 employees had been suspended and that they could return to work if they received a partial or full COVID-19 vaccination, according to the Indianapolis Business Journal.
In June, IU Health announced it would require all doctors, nurses, and other staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, joining over 150 hospital systems nationwide to issue employee vaccine mandates.

“All new hires must be vaccinated before starting work in my company.”
Your company your choice I guess. Not sure what good it will do. Our company has had half dozen, out of approx 125, fall sick in the past couple weeks. All “fully vaccinated” The evidence says the jab is like a lottery ticket. You have an equal chance of winning whether you get one or not.

What I know is that too many people are dropping dead after they were injected (especially from ‘cardiac issues’), and the media is keeping quiet about it...

42 U.S. CODE § 300AA–22 - STANDARDS OF RESPONSIBILITY
(a) GENERAL RULE
Except as provided in subsections (b), (c), and (e) State law shall apply to a civil action brought for damages for a vaccine-related injury or death.
(b) UNAVOIDABLE ADVERSE SIDE EFFECTS; WARNINGS
(1) No vaccine manufacturer shall be liable in a civil action for damages arising from a vaccine-related injury or death associated with the administration of a vaccine after October 1, 1988, if the injury or death resulted from side effects that were unavoidable even though the vaccine was properly prepared and was accompanied by proper directions and warnings.
(2) For purposes of paragraph (1), a vaccine shall be presumed to be accompanied by proper directions and warnings if the vaccine manufacturer shows that it complied in all material respects with all requirements under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act [21 U.S.C. 301 et seq.] and section 262 of this title (including regulations issued under such provisions) applicable to the vaccine and related to vaccine-related injury or death for which the civil action was brought unless the plaintiff shows—
(A) that the manufacturer engaged in the conduct set forth in subparagraph (A) or (B) of section 300aa–23(d)(2) of this title, or
(B) by clear and convincing evidence that the manufacturer failed to exercise due care notwithstanding its compliance with such Act and section (and regulations issued under such provisions).
(c) DIRECT WARNINGS No vaccine manufacturer shall be liable in a civil action for damages arising from a vaccine-related injury or death associated with the administration of a vaccine after October 1, 1988, solely due to the manufacturer’s failure to provide direct warnings to the injured party (or the injured party’s legal representative) of the potential dangers resulting from the administration of the vaccine manufactured by the manufacturer.
(d) CONSTRUCTION The standards of responsibility prescribed by this section are not to be construed as authorizing a person who brought a civil action for damages against a vaccine manufacturer for a vaccine-related injury or death in which damages were denied or which was dismissed with prejudice to bring a new civil action against such manufacturer for such injury or death.
(e) PREEMPTION No State may establish or enforce a law which prohibits an individual from bringing a civil action against a vaccine manufacturer for damages for a vaccine-related injury or death if such civil action is not barred by this part.

125 Staff Part Ways With Indiana’s Biggest Hospital System After Refusing Vaccine If the administration gets its way and forces all health care providers to require their employees and contractors to be vaccinated then where do these people go to work?
To: prov1813man
I think the people that run the company I work in made a bad choice. Personally it should be up to the individual.
I would have perferred not getting it, but I need a job. It is easy to say to quit your job, but bills need to be paid and I have too many years invested towards retirement. The likelihood of getting a job that pays as much as I do at my age are slim. They would require the jan anyway if I were to get one.

“What do these health care workers know that we don’t know? Front line workers willing to be fired or walking off the job to avoid the vax. Things that make you go “Hmmm...”.”
Exactly. Especially in an industry that trusts medicine more than the average joe... what are they seeing on the frontlines?
To: freespirit2012
Well maybe the unreported numbers are exempt Black Muslims and got a “get out of vax” card from Honorable Minister Farrakhan.

The logic of this escapes me.
People who worked during all the hours of 2020 & 2021 are now being required to be vaccinated-—when they worked heavily surrounded b y sick persons already.

I would have perferred not getting it, but I need a job. It's called "coercion". This is un-American. It's an evil but clever scheme by the government to put the monkey on the backs of employers with the loss of livelihood to those who refuse to go along with it.
Nobody in this country should be forced to go along with this coercive and un-Constitutional evil. But we are now being run by wicked politicians and a malignant medical industry, starting with the "President" on down.
Unfortunately, those who feel forced to go along with it may pay the same price in the long run as those who gleefully accept this oncoming disaster. Hopefully, it won't work out that way.
These bastards are leaving little choice for decent people caught in their trap. There is nothing good about them. They should be in jail and not accumulating more power and making piles of money.

I really, really wish that someone would ask Biden: “Why FORCE people to get vaccinated when the vaccines provide weak protection against infection and weak protection against one becoming a spreader?”*
Mind you, I say that as someone who, under no coercion whatsoever, other than my own judgment, got vaccinated, as did my wife and daughter.
*This was explained brilliantly by FReeper Beaubo (who posts the regular vaccine update threads, and does not believe in coercion either):

Actually, you did make a choice. You weighed the variables and took the option most beneficial to you. Certainly can respect that. However, many younger, more in demand, workers will, hopefully make a choice in support of medical freedom. In a definite worker’s sellers market, those companies who buy into the lie and force employees to suffer as a result should be left gasping for qualified workers and, ultimately be forced to close their doors. Go woke, Go broke.
