Health Ministry chief says coronavirus spread reaching record heights
As over 10,000 new cases are diagnosed, Nachman Ash tells lawmakers he had hoped recent downward trend would continue

Health Ministry Director-General Nachman Ash said Tuesday that the current wave of coronavirus infections is surpassing anything seen in previous outbreaks and that he is disappointed that a recent downward trend appeared to be reversing.
Ash’s remarks via video call to the Knesset Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee came as Health Ministry figures showed that over 10,000 new COVID-19 cases were diagnosed the day before and that the positive test rate was climbing.
Pointing out that there is an average of 8,000 new infections each day, with occasional peaks over 10,000, he said, “That is a record that did not exist in the previous waves,” including the massive third wave at the end of last year.

Israel used mostly Pfizer, some AstraZeneca, and in recent months began using Moderna.
It is the highly infectious, and somewhat more immune evasive Delta variant working through their population, coupled with a very high testing rate.
The vaccines are less effective against infection and transmission of the much more rapidly replicating Delta variant, in the nasal passages - especially after the initial few months of high circulating antibodies subsides.
The vaccines are still strongly effective against death or severe illness from Delta, even after the initial (few month) surge in circulating antibodies declines.
Injected vaccines just don’t induce the high IgE immune response on the nasal mucosa that intranasal vaccines, or natural infection do. The immune response of injected vaccines is strongest inside the bloodstream.
The existing vaccines reduce mortality from Delta, better than they prevent infection. At least seven intranasal COVID vaccines are being developed, and or tested around the world. Some will likely be available (somewhere) next year. By then, a lot of people will already have been naturally exposed to Delta through their noses.
Now that Naftali Bennett has gone full Biden, I don’t trust anything his Health Ministry says. All “data” is for use as a stick to attack the unvaccinated.

It only shows what renowned virologists have predicted is coming to pass. Not wanting to change directions, by using other known and working means of prevention would indicate either plain ignorance or intentions of keeping this infection going which in a roundabout way, sorry to say; would serve to cull the population. Perhaps by using that come hell and high water approach, insisting and forcing these vaccines upon people was the whole idea all along.

Sure. Just let the thing go unchecked. Mutation rate is basically controlled by replication rate, infectivity (aside from the influence of replication rate), radiation, and some chemicals that affect viruses somewhat like carcinogens affect normal human cells. Those 1st 2 are the "biggies" in most situations.

They were traveling east from Los Angeles, and had to stop for help here in Phoenix, AZ. I am a part time volunteer paramedic, and just happened to be involved with this one.
I don’t know what clinic is responsible in Los Angeles, or possibly what part of metropolitan Los Angeles.
The family was obviously a wreck.
This wasn’t my first run-in with a very sick “vaccinated” toddler from SoCal.
However he was the youngest for me.
