More "transmissible" but less lethal. Isn't this how most if not all viruses evolve? They mutate to make themselves more able to attach to multiple hosts without killing the hosts, hence killing themselves.

Serious question: Is there an actual test by which it can be determined that one has contracted the "delta" variant?

If the PCR test cannot even differentiate covid from influenza, how can the specific 'variant' of the wuhan flu be determined?

That is what the “Delta” does everywhere. It is in decline in every state and every country that it hit first. In India it is back to what is the new background level. "Delta" spikes and then goes away. it is more contagious but less serious than the original Fauci/CCP gain of function variety. The experimental vaccines are worthless against it which strangely is why the big push to get everyone vaccinated regardless of whether they have immunity from previous infections or not. Every action that is taken demonstrates more clearly that politics not public health is the motivating factor.
