I’m no fan of George W. Bush.
And I understand that there remains controversy about the WMD in Iraq.

But, basically, the heads of 17 intelligence agencies told President Bush that Saddam Hussein had WMD and we had to go and remove them. So we went there.
And, apparently, we didn’t find them

And ALL the journalists said Bush “lied”.

I’ll defend Bush exactly as much as he defends us.

That said, I can answer the title:

Oooo ooooo ooooo mistah cartah!

It’s because we’re at war! We’re not winning. We won’t get our country back and or only hope is to split back into southern and northern states.

Did I get it right?

And the fact that all the WMD intelligence that was based on was developed to justify Clinton bombing the hell out of Iraq during his impeachment trial

Is there a reason those WMDs did not end up in some other country that was an ally to Saddam Hussein?

" And I understand that there remains controversy about the WMD in Iraq."

George Tenet told "W" there were WMD in Iraq, and that it was a "Slam-Dunk".

CIA Director George Tenet was a "Clinton-holdover". (Another bad pick by a Republican President).

What raw Uranium there was, was flown to Canada to be processed.

"But, basically, the heads of 17 intelligence agencies told President Bush that Saddam Hussein had WMD and we had to go and remove them. So we went there."

My first response to the intelligence agencies cries would of been the problem isn't with Iraq/Hussein, the problem is the countries, Clinton who ran the foreign policy show and world agencies (UN in particular) that allowed Hussein, after the Kuwait invasion mind you along with sanctions, to fester.

So bean counters and backstabbers, our first targets for destruction should be UN ambassadors, Clinton, State Department heads/CIA heads/Gorelick/staff members, Saudi Arabia, and you for for festering the problem in the first place. Hussein is a fall guy for your corruption. So, those who propped up Hussein deserve the full force of the US military hardware and personnel wet work first before I even think about taking Hussein out first.

Buck Fush's excuses. You are suppose to challenge advisors as a leader, not hang on every word they throw at you.

The WMD was completely irrelevant when your cease-fire agreement was broken, weekly.
