Insider and Decision Desk HQ are projecting that Gov. Gavin Newsom will survive the California gubernatorial recall. Decision Desk called the race at 8:21 p.m. PT and 11:21 p.m ET. Per this projected call Newsom will remain governor of California.

live in the state . the hatred for gavin newsom croses party lines. this is not a one party state it is a seven family state. there is seven families that have controled this state since the gold rush. they will not allow any real elections in this state that can take away there strangle hold on the state.

If this was an honest election I will eat every hat I have! Its California! Fair elections are a thing of the very distant past. If you were smart enough to vote for Elder then you should be smart enough to leave that rat infested state, especially if you own a business. There are plenty of decent states that would love to have your business and the jobs it will bring, and they won’t tax you into the poor house.

Republicans picked up seats in 3 suburban LA districts and 1 in Fresno.
Yeah, it happens. There are little pockets of conservatives in LA and OC counties, and most of the Central Valley. But there are still only 11 out of 53 GOP Reps statewide.

They should. The recall vote will be a preview of the 2022 vote and the 2022 vote will be a preview of the 2024 vote.
