Is this what you reported ?
Fox News reported that morning the munition used by US drone strike was not explosive head. It was one that deployed knife-like devices just prior to impact. Since there was an explosion, it appears the vehicle was carrying an IED. .

No, FOX News reported that some of the newer drones used missiles with the knife-like devices, implying that not all of them do so. They were speculating in the reports I heard. Also, how would such devices cause "secondary" explosions?
