I’m not sure what your point if. Of course the point of the article is true. Executive orders can only bind the executive branch. The President has no jurisdiction to tell the legislative and judicial branches what to do with their employees. This is imposed on the public by having an executive agency, OSHA, impose a mandate in private businesses it regulates. I do t think this successfully survivors challenge, but that’s the logic of it

Really seems like anything goes. An executive order (I believe) controls actions within the Executive Branch. If he wants to control the military, or federal contractors, that may be one thing. But the Labor Department should not control companies of >100 employees just based on a EO.

And they don’t seem concerned that mandating an experimental jab for soldiers may negatively impact our national defense. But, of course, you wouldn’t want to mandate it for judges or government staff — I mean, hey, what if there were side effects?? How would we survive if those people were impacted??

This whole thing is a mess, not based on real legislation, or a real crisis, not based on due process, or equal protection under the law. It’s a naked power grab by people who stole an election.
