Here's who loves Biden's vaccine mandate: The companies that have to enforce it
CNN Fake News ^ | 10 September 2021 | David Goldman

Posted on 09/10/2021 9:24:51 AM PDT by Magnatron

President Joe Biden gave a gift to every major company in America by forcing them to mandate vaccines or stringently test their employees for Covid. Their reaction to the new rule: glee. Corporate America had been trying to navigate two competing pandemic realities: Companies are desperately trying to get back to business as usual, and mandating vaccines is among the best ways to accomplish that. But a labor shortage had tied their hands, as businesses have been worried that forcing people to get the shot would send some desperately needed employees and potential new hires packing. Some state and local governments had imposed various vaccine mandates, others had outright banned them — and all the while vaccines have also become politically charged.

All that made universal corporate vaccine mandates difficult for employers. But Biden solved that problem for them this week.

The Biden administration's new rule puts every American company with 100 or more employees in the same boat: All must get tough on their workers. If big companies want to do business in America, they have to help stop Covid from spreading.

That gives the Walmarts of the world the arsenal they need to fix their biggest pandemic quandary. Employees have to get vaccinated or frequently tested, and companies don't have to worry about losing them to a rival.

"While many companies will challenge the plan in courts, many others will likely let out a sigh of relief," said John Challenger, CEO of outplacement services company Challenger Gray & Christmas. "One of the most difficult problems for companies to tackle during this pandemic, among many, was the ever-changing and sometimes conflicting directives from local, state, and federal agencies."

Nearly every Employee who works at our local Walmart is Black. Most are very young.

Blacks are the least Vaccinated Demographic by percentage in this Country.

This will be interesting.

BTW, if a Leftist asks you if you have been Vaccinated and they ask you which Shot you received, tell them it was the Trump Vaccine. Then ask them which Vaccine they got.

When they tell you Pfizer, J&J or Moderna, respond that’s great, you got the Trump Vaccine too.

“People I know that own bars/restaurants wanted masks to protect employees from customers but it made it SO much easier when they could blame it on the governor. Like a good cop/bad cop situation”

The bars/restaurant owners I know were smarter than that. They knew the masks don’t do anything. They figured out pretty quick how rare it is for anyone to get seriously sick from this.

The smartest ones knew it was all political bullshit - it wasn’t lost on them that the states with Democrat governors were first to impose lockdowns and the last to lift them.

They HATED the lockdowns and distancing bullshit. Many of them lost their businesses permemently.

As for large businesses, I know some people that own them too - and many more that work for one. The owners are far from gleeful. Many of their best executives liked working from home so much they decided not to go back to commuting to a disgusting city 5 days a week.

Your best employees are the ones who always wanted to start their own business but just needed a push.

Besides, this is CNN. What are the chances they are telling the truth, or that they know what they are talking about?

Maybe the large “woke” companies will love it but for smaller “non woke” or conservative companies it will mean downsizing because the principled ones will not put employees through that.

" I have always been a big fan of leaderless resistance. That way there is no leader for the leftists to demonize and target. "

No leadership is why we are losing. We all must be pulling in the same direction. Hell, half the people on our side live in denial that the election was stolen on Nov 3. They still need to see proof. With this level of division on our side we are doomed.

If it happened to me I would just do a Biden imitation--and start babbling incoherently--I think I will go for mumbling 666, evil, evil, evil, 666....until they walk away in disgust...

The world is just not gonna work the way you think it will...

This is not the 1600s where European kings fight kings on vast estates.

We are deep in Sun Tzu territory.

What that means is that whoever fights fair—loses.

Right, Pfizer is still under EUA, can not be sued for product liability b/c it is EUA. I don’t know what the laws are about “mandating” a vaccine to private companies that is EUA—my guess is this hasn’t even been done before—but if it were approved, the drug companies could be sued by employees if they are harmed due to a requirement to be vaccinated/or lose job. I think, but do not know for sure, that by keeping it EUA, the employers were more comfortable accepting the mandates (and I’m pretty sure Biden, et al, discussed w/many beforehand). We’ll see.

Very true. I think we’re going to see a parallel economy develop as a lot of those people go out and start their own businesses or activities.

The C suite and BOD?

Love it. Really love it. They can brag to their yacht buddies about making the poors behave.

The people who actually HAVE TO ENFORCE IT? Nope.

We can’t hire as it is. Because of old pooper last night, my three interviews just canceled.

Yep, that’s what I meant by downsizing. They will probably replace part time workers with full time as well.

Creative employees may be able to contract out their services to their (about to be former) employer—if they are recognized as valuable that could be a workaround that could be a win win.

1) HIPPA is to protect the employer, not the employee. I have PERSONAL experience in this. The employer WILL know ALL of your medical data if not prior to hiring shortly there after.
2) As above, I am seeing some major companies put the costs of testing and vax on the employees.
3) as above... Yeah that is a pipe dream.

“Right to work” means “I own you!”

Fascist Fauci won’t be satisfied until the mandate is take the vax or take a bullet.

"The devil is in the details," Freeman said. "Without additional clarification for the business community, employee anxieties and questions will multiply."

Well, I'm sure consumer anxieties will multiply in the form of higher prices as the details are "clarified".

Yup—only one way to be certain to “protect the vaccinated from the un-vaccinated”.

Either put the un-vaccinated in concentration camps or shoot them.

There is a fair amount of us I think that will take being fired over getting forced.

The speciality manufacturing facility is tight on people as it is and any real losses, lights go out.
