Boise is indeed suffering from west coast bigcityitus. It’s fighting the change, but too many commie transplants are moving in too fast.
I’ve considered fleeing to Idaho, we have family who found a wonderful area to live, but the commies are ruining that area too. Perhaps the time has come for cities and communities to take control of their border management?

Yes, it did. The 16th street mall was a walking mall in middle of Denver. It is now overrun by homeless potheads. The city did like San Francisco and allows homeless camps and vagrancy, and people to crap on the sidewalks.
Drug legalization + “defund the police” + decriminalization of shoplifting and theft. What could go wrong?
I was in Denver recently and if this is the area right in front of the State Capitol it is unbelievably bad. Bums, filth, crazy people doing things they shouldn’t do in public; it looked like the aftermath of a war in which only the dregs of society had survived and pitched tents right before the Colorado state capitol building.
If you look at a map this park is directly in the middle of the District Courthouse and the Capitol building. Absolutely amazing what these lunatics will allow to happen in their city because they are so terrified of being called racist or elitist. They can burn for all I care.
Oh, they’ll migrate somewhere. At least indoors. November in Denver is brutal. A good time for some to migrate back to California.
That ruins it for the good, clean, respectful people. As always.

Civilized cities that insist on public order and decency can handle drug legalization—but we don’t have any of those in the US these days...

My last trip into downtown was Dec. 5th for the Trump "Stop the Steal" rally. It quickly turned into a Biden rally as he declared victory, and the unwashed masses flooded the streets.
This was after the Cops stood by earlier that Fall, and let Antifa attack the closing of a "Back the Blue" rally.
It was after the follow-up rally for that "Back-the-Blue" fiasco, where Lee Keltner was murdered by that Antifa rent-a-cop hired by 9 News.
So, yes, I was packing.... But, more to the point, it was clear there is nothing in Downtown worth venturing in.
Can't carry into sports stadiums and my attendance at political gatherings won't be missed.
I'm working hard to stop the spread of Marxism to the suburbs.
