"FOX News Sunday" host Chris Wallace discovered during an interview with the dean of Brown University's School of Public Health, Dr. Ashish Jha, that standard cloth masks do very little to stop the spread of COVID-19.
"So you're saying this mask I've been wearing for a year isn't really protecting me very much?" Wallace asked.
"You probably need to upgrade your mask, Chris," Jha told him.

Mask are about as effective as a chain link fence stopping a 12 gauge to anyone with common sense, the rest is just optics.
I saw the interview, and that is just what I thought. And then I expected the follow up of whether all the kiddos were wearing worthless masks to school, too?
Indeed, masks seem to do more as suffocation devices.

Wallace is almost certainly the type that has been screaming and railing against those who choose not to wear masks. And now look at him in the video, shaken to his core as an “expert” he trusts confirms to him what all those yahoos he despises have been saying all along - the masks most of us are forced to wear do absolutely nothing to prevent disease transmission. They are worn to appease tin-pot dictators and neurotics like Chris Wallace.
You are quite correct. But the Stupid is STRONG in Wallace.

Yes, but despite the fact that the “expert” interviewed said masks are not very effective the same expert said “masking is part of a total approach”.
You cannot make this stuff up. Either they work or they do not. IF, as the studies are showing they are less than 10% effective then a rational debate would include the negative consequences so that rational people could decide if the negatives of masking outweigh the 10% effectiveness.
The science is pretty clear that masking is not only ineffective to “stop the spread”, but they also bring significant negative consequences with them.
There is NO SCIENCE that supports the mask mandates, especially in schools with young healthy people. That is the fact. It is just like the “6 foot social distancing” rule. Another tool pulled from the nether regions of bureaucrats with no supporting science.
They aren’t to protect you, Chris. They are to protect other people.
How about he just wear a very tight fitting plastic bag. Duct taped to his neck to make it more sterile.

At a point last year, I was, in a broad way, exposed to Covid. So I set up a time and went to the station to be swabbed. Upon completing the process, with tears coming out of my eyes, they gave me a gallon of disinfectant and a cloth mask. And these were the medical representatives representing the CDC. I see a problem here when the organization that makes the decision on medical safety concerning the virus, and representing the lawmakers, has a major say on masks, and most likely vaccines, they obviously are guessing at.

Speaking of Wall @ss.....remember when FNCs John Roberts came busting out of the press room, at one of the WH CV briefings, last year, and...was caught on hot mic saying...’take off the mask!’. And, the photographer/aide said, What?....
Roberts then said, again, Yeah...take off the mask....this thing only has a .1% (?? or, some low number) of transmissibility.
The vid went viral and TPTB had to refute (and, have a talking to, I’m sure) poor old John, and, quick.

Its actually worse than even the small claims of effectiveness that are being made..... all the studies assume you wear the mask for a short time before exchanging it for another mask.
These masks were NEVER designed to be worn multiple times for hours on end. They are supposed to be exchanged because they collect and trap bacteria over time and yes, that is for the N95 masks which are multiple times more effective than the cloth or improvised masks we see most people wearing.
