These songs will get the crowds going in my two favorite places to watch college football

Tequila - University of Washington Marching Band

Wabash Cannonball - Kansas State University Marching Band

A really cool musical event happened a few years ago at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas. During a lull in the game, a 'guess-the-year' quiz came on the big screen. It opened with the clue of "The Beatles released their biggest hit" and the video showed Paul McCartney singing the opening line of Hey Jude and then cut to all The Beatles singing the chorus. On hearing the familiar Na-Na's, the marching band started singing along, then the student section picked up on this, then a lot of the rest of the crowd on the east side of the stadium. Suddenly found myself sitting in the middle of an impromptu Hey Jude sing-along until the game started again.
