Yeah, but if she’s president she can’t be the tie breaker in the senate. And the Senate gets to approve her replacement - she doesn’t vote on that one either. She get’s neutered.
Not just that, She is obviously worried about her image and getting blamed for the dumb decisions. Biden is an empty brain dead shell of a robot. He doesn’t even have any understanding of right or wrong. He just does what he is told without any thought of his own let alone be worried about getting any blame.
The more I think about this option the more it sounds like it might actually slow down the run away trainwreck ready to happen. May as well go for broke... At least she is afraid of embarrassment, Biden will obviously never even have that hesitation. She might actually think twice about decisions and/or advice she is being handed, Biden will never think at all.

The Democrats will trot out someone palatable, a white male pretending to be a moderate. A former senator or governor probably, a member of the club. The GOP senate will rubber-stamp it. "The country must move on."
