Don’t confused the total bodies with the American citizen totals.
The 57,000, if it is accurate at all, must include all the Afghanis evacuated, not just American citizens. They were evacuating something like 8 times as many Afghan nationals as US citizens.
The 57,000 is probably everyone taken out (including by our former allies).
They won't give a breakdown of our figures because that will show (a) they are pathetically small; and (b) the vast majority are Afghans, not Americans.
