Maybe our Deep State’s intent was to leave certain personnel in Afghanistan to die.

It would be an efficient way to get rid of a large number of Deep State’s enemies.

And blame would accrue to BiteMe and the Taliban, not Deep State.

Anyone who has actually worked with the French Armed Forces wouldn't be surprised. They are professional, superbly trained and courageous as hell. And funny: nobody has a better sense of humor than the French.

I had the privilege of serving with the French in the Sinai in 1987-8 and later with the French artillery while I was with Marine Corps Systems Command. Would never have any problem having a French outfit on my flank.

The Maginot Line was defended by poorly prepared reserve units, because the French did not think the Germans would attack there. So the troops who broke and ran there were basically cooks and clerks. IDK know why the stigma continues to stick. I don’t care much for the French government, or arrogant Parisians, but the people are durable.

Two nights ago, French police escorted out of the embassy in the green zone of Kabul the French, Afghan and international families to whom 🇫🇷 had offered shelter. The diplomatic and consular team of the embassy has taken care of them at the airport and they have been evacuated.

Maybe American families can get second mortgages on their homes or max out their credit cards - and pay the French to save their loved ones.

This is to stifle the Maricopa report. Why else would something that was due to be done later this year be done in such a way as to generate terrible news about American nationals in Afghanistan. It won’t be long now before the first reports of US deaths out there, and Biden/Harris will sit on their hands. Probably just when the Maricopa report is released – mark my words.

Yes, you are correct. If we wanted to there is nothing stopping the US military from going out in armored vehicles and rescuing stranded US citizens all day long. The Dutch, French and UK have done it apparently without incident. I’m catching flak for saying it but if the Taliban are in Kabul in significant force they are certainly hiding it from the news people. Even Aljazeera is not showing video of any large numbers.

This whole thing is being deliberately done by the US government. My guess is to keep the audit results out of the news. IMO we will soon have a communications blackout out and a cyber attack that affects the grid and food supply chain. The deep state is getting desperate.

We were stationed with French guys on deployment. Americans enjoy hating tge french. It’s a waste of emotion.

The French have long memories, and they honor their heroes and those who came to their aid. In comparison on this point, the US are rubes at best.
