Biden is getting from the media a 180 degree opposite handling compared to the “GW Bush treatment” in a crisis.

They have the outcome they wanted.

He is probably short-circuiting from too many meds-they’re taking him to his favorite secluded location to get his drug cocktail balanced to make him appear to be semi-normal again in public...

You know of what you speak, have had exactly the same experiences with a loved one as they progressed in “the long goodbye.”

This is truly a dangerous situation we are in.

Thanks to all those turncoat politician emm-effers in the Republican party who never backed up Trump. So angry.

And we have that imbecile Bush to thank for getting us mired into Afghanistan in the first place. Is anyone even mentioning that idiot?

Afghanistan really is Bush’s fault.

The only commitment we should have made there was a month or two of daily B-52 raids until nothing moved.

Bush was never interested in getting OBL, because if he did, the pressure would be there to get out, and deny him the chance for his Great Nation Building Extravaganza.

Gergaghty did a good job with this- his final sentences are really unsettling- everyone is afraid to say something- all for political reasons. But this problem with Joe has been apparent for roughly 2 years. Imagine being his wife. She’s either selfish and cruel or someone(s) have threatened or bought her. No matter- this administration is endangering our country and even the world.

Very dangerous. I think the people pulling the strings thought they could govern “through” him, but dementia patients can be very obstinate. Put that with CiC and it is a nightmare.

Or... they knew this would happen, all according to the plan to hand Afghanistan to the CCP (and maybe Taiwan soon) and make Biden the fall guy per the 25th.

Either way, scary.

It reminds me of what the German generals had to deal with the last 18 months or so of WWII. German military was so top down in their hierarchy, that a large part of our success on D-Day was due to Rommel being on holiday back in Germany.

What once made our military so lethal was the independence accorded to our fighting elements, to take the initiative. I’m not so sure that exists today.

I had a battalion commander in Germany who demanded imagination and independence of his officers. He chewed me out on many occasions (after all, I was a 26 YO 1LT), but it was forgotten 30 seconds after I left his office. He turned a C-3 battalion into a C-1 combat ready battalion in 18 months.

One of our sister battalions was commanded by Jay Garner, who would go on to wear 3 stars. Bush and Cheney screwed him over in Iraq, one month into his job as head of Iraq Reconstruction. He had the temerity to say his objective was to “turn Iraq back over to the Iraqis as soon as possible...it’s their country.” He wasn’t into nation building. Cheney and Halliburton couldn’t abide by that.

It took them THIS LONG to finally arrive at that conclusion.

It is an interesting chart. There is a test that is given by Doctors for what the chart is attempting to show. Not everyone with cognitive issues follows the chart exactly. For example my own mother had issues mainly with personal care. She always knew her children even into the early nineties. She was never a wanderer, her speech was as I remember never slurred in fact I don’t think she was more than stage one in any category, yet she failed the test that doctors give consisting of questions, and response.

Since I was never present for such a test I am not familiar with the questions. If I was grading myself based on the chart, I suppose I’m a stage one in memory and speech but who hasn’t experienced stage one on any given day. For example I find what I’ve misplaced. My son is able to supply the very word I am missing to complete a sentence. In other areas, the difference between “normal” and stage one appear to be huge, so I’m guessing we agree in chart assessment of the fake president.
