I am concerned about the 82nd Airborne and lead elements of the Marine Corp who are on a rescue mission could result in a massacre of them by a large number of Taliban supported by PLAN weapons.
1 They are in the middle of Kabul not in fortified positions.
2 No close air support.
3 Non combat rules of engagement.
Seriously and correct me if I’m wrong but have you seen even one video of Taliban fighters in great numbers in or around Kabul? I have searched and even on Aljazeera there is no video of the victorious army. None.
All you see are little snippets of 4-6 Taliban in a pickup or standing around on the street. Even at the airport no video of Taliban numbers. This does not seem to point occupation forces. I’m beginning to seriously doubt the whole thing.
