Reuters reported Tuesday that at least one global authority is already reconciling itself to Taliban rule in Afghanistan: “The chief of field operations of the U.N. children’s agency expressed cautious optimism about working with Taliban officials following their seizure of power in Afghanistan, citing their early expressions of support for girls’ education.” The source of this optimism may have been Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid sounding a superficially reassuring note: “We are going to allow women to work and study, women are going to be very active in society… we guarantee all their rights within the limits of Islam.”
That’s a relief, right? Everyone, including Afghan women, is expecting the Taliban to act swiftly and ruthlessly to oppress women, but if Zabiullah Mujahid is on the level about respecting women’s rights within the limits of Islam, how bad could it be? After all, everyone tells us that it’s a religion of peace and tolerance, right? Still, instead of just breathing a sigh of relief at Zabiullah’s words and assuming that all will now be well for women in Afghanistan, it would behoove Westerners to familiarize themselves with what those “limits of Islam” actually are — that is, what Islamic texts say about women, as opposed to what Western non-Muslim spokesmen wish they said.
The record of those Islamic texts, unfortunately, is not as benign as the UN children’s agency might assume. The Qur’an teaches that men are superior to women and should beat those from whom they “fear disobedience”: “Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient.

They could just lie to us like American pols do but the Taliban tell us straight up exactly what they are going to do.
A huge part of why we failed in Afghanistan was because we tried to force good old PC identity politics and radical feminist culture / LGBTQ down their throats.
They live in an Islamic fundamentalist culture that is more 7th Century fudal warlrod in nature than 21st Century post modern technological .
In their culture, the strong dominate the weak and contrary to feminist teaching, the reality is that women are the weaker sex and the Koran decrees that all women are the property of some man. The Taliban follow the teachings of the Koran and think our modern notions are absurd and an insult to Islam

1. Right to be beheaded for not wearing a burka.
2. Right to be beheaded if a 12 year old girl refuses to marry a 50 year old fighter.
3. Right to be beheaded for reading a book.
4. Right to be beheaded for being in public alone.

According to islam, every woman is the property of some man, and that man can treat them as he would any other property.

Woman are human beings. And as such, deserve equal treatment with men. Therein lies the proof that woman should be treated equal to men which is a falicy in the beleif system of islam, the artificial religion of Islam. If woman are subservient human beings, there would be proof in front of our eyes. Woman are no different than men except they are different than men. Woman are to be revered. They are to be respected. If men cannot do that, then they are the deficient ones. If Islamists cannot see this, then they are the ones who are mentally deficient.
This is all the more reason we should gp storming back in in full force to crush the slobs. We should flatten them and we well could do that. Ww should not leave hostigages left like Carter did. Let’s go get them.
