Britain was the second-largest supplier of troops to Afghanistan, and the United States’ rapid withdrawal from the country has left some embittered. LONDON — In Britain, the chaotic departure from Afghanistan has drawn comparisons not to helicopters flying out of Saigon but to an earlier debacle: the 1956 Suez crisis, in which a humiliated Britain was forced to pull out of Egypt, having failed to dislodge its nationalist leader, Gamal Abdel Nasser.
The problem is, Britain had very little to say about the timing or tactics of the most recent withdrawal, even though it suffered the second-most casualties in the Afghanistan war after the United States. That has left British officials embarrassed and embittered at President Biden. Some say he behaved more like his predecessor, Donald J. Trump, than an ally who promised a new era of American partnership.

They do have a point though, how could Britain ever trust America again when it is asking for coalition partners in a new war against a new threat if they know that this is how it is going to end when a new president comes along and says he is sick of the war and pulls out leaving a fiasco like this?
Biden is destroying America’s relationships and alliances by breaching trust with allies and for once, the NYT is on the money.
If those morons can’t twll the difference between Biden and Donald Trump they deserved the humiliation.
The Brits, Canadians, Australians and New Zealanders have been talking about a union of free trade, free movement and unified command structure called CANZUK. This will breath new life into the movement. They have watched Washington screw up time and again and think they can do better. At least combine resources to get their own people home.

Why don't you have a look at some of the British papers? They are steaming with rage at Biden and “the Americans” for this massive screw up.
I am not so sure about that. UK and Australia are more or less on the same page but Trudope and Comrade Jacinda are not.
Trudope is literally letting the PLA use Canada as a training ground and Jacinda Adhern has made it clear she isn’t going to alienate China because of all the trade NZ does.
