San Francisco announced Thursday it will become the first major U.S. city to enforce proof of full vaccination for entry to restaurants, gyms and other indoor venues, as it aims to curb a new wave of COVID infections.
San Francisco, which launches its mandate on August 20, is the third major city to pass a sweeping vaccine requirement for indoor businesses behind New York and Los Angeles, which only require proof of one vaccination dose.
'Vaccines are our way out of the pandemic, and our way back to a life where we can be together safely,' San Francisco Mayor London Breed said in a statement Thursday....

they are going to come down hard on anyone using fake vaccine docs. Every person that gets the shots is in a database, which will be easily verifiable.
I am betting that within a couple of months, there will be some high-profile prosecutions of a few people, to stop the fake card gimmick.
Who in their right mind would step anywhere near there?

So every retail establishment, business, restaurant, bar and gym will check this new database before admitting every customer? Sorry, but I doubt that because the website / database would need a massive amount of infrastructure to support it accompanied by an equal amount of tech security. Neither the database, tech support or security systems are in place yet. How long would it take to create it?
I suspect we are eventually headed towards that but until then they will he issuing cards for proof.
