The growth in the American population over the last decade was driven entirely by minority communities, according to new data released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau, as the number of white Americans declined for the first time since the nation's founding.
Non-Hispanic whites make up just under 58 percent of the American population, the first time since the Census was first conducted that they have fallen under the 60 percent mark. By contrast, the 2000 Census showed non-Hispanic whites made up just over 69 percent of the population, and 63.7 percent in 2010.
Hispanic or Latino Americans have grown steadily to 62.1 million, or 18.7 percent of the population, up from 12.6 percent in 2000 and 16.4 percent in the 2010 count. Asian Americans grew faster than any other minority group in the last decade, to 24 million, up about 20 percent since 2010.
Counties with populations under 50,000 all lost population on average, according to the Census data. Counties with populations over 100,000 gained 9.1 percent, as more Americans flocked to metropolitan areas and their nearby suburbs.
Overall, 86.3 percent of Americans live in a metropolitan area, a city and its surroundings with populations greater than 50,000, up 2 percentage points since the 2000 survey. The share of Americans who live in rural areas that are not part of metropolitan areas dropped by 2.8 percentage points.

1. You can thank the GOP for decades of encouraging millions of cheap laborers (legal or not) to flood the border.
2. Most likely fewer white liberals are having families compared to conservative whites.
3. How many conservative whites can afford to have a family compared to minorities that can get “free stuff”?
4. One thing you will NEVER hear publicly is the fear from city officials of the loss of tax revenues from white flight (I have).
5. When the economic collapse does happen, how many will go back to the countries they came from?
I come from an Irish Catholic Democrat family. Voting Republican was unthinkable a generation ago for my family. This has been completely reveresed. Once people are productive and self sufficient they resent paying for the unpoductive.
Except President Trump got 38% of the Latino vote. And he is not even Latino.
From The Federalist:
“Trump made gains among Hispanic voters. While Biden took a 59% majority of the Hispanic vote, Trump (with 38%) gained significantly over the level of support Republican candidates for the House received in 2018 (25%),” according to Pew.”
Hispanic is not a race. But if having a growing Hispanic population makes America more like Texas and Florida, I'm all for it.
(I have some Native American blood, and some Spanish blood, and I am also a Blue-Eyed Devil. And I checked three boxes on the Census.)
Even so, mexicans are voting liberal nearly 2 to 1 over the GOP. That’s a huge problem especially as they’re taking over the country.
Our real concern is how many white liberal elite commies are there - and how many more than last year....
I know how we can make up being down 1/6 or 60/40. Volume.
I think some people are moved to think of you as a Leftist because of your “Get used to it” comment in your post.
I think it is because you really think Biden won the election fair and square that carries the most weight.
I like to look at the posts about ‘look around’ and how lost the country is. It’s not some hidden thing that dare not be mentioned. It is inevitable and has already cemented itself. If that’s trollish, I guess Dante was too when he said ‘give up all ye hope’ to those entering hell.
I prefer to see it as reality.
I wonder how many in the GOP that supported mass importation of cheap labor were voted out of office by the very same people?
But what do they care? They got paid big bucks from the Cheap Labor Lobby. They most likely live in a very nice neighborhood.
Sadly, it really started under Reagan and Bush certainly didn’t do anything to slow it down. Trump tried, but was overwhelmed by the calls of racism and the general malaise of the country when it comes to being taken over.
I see comments like that and think of Bill Clinton’s “You might want to put some ice on that” comment.
Just lay back and enjoy it.
When it comes to national rape, what else can you really do? The only good thing that’s been happening lately is the spread of constitutional carry imo. Everything else sucks.
I’ve been hearing the “Mexicans are taking over the country” stuff for over 50 years and if anything, other Latinos like Venezuelans, Guatemalans, Hondurans etc are trooping into America more than Mexicans. And in states like Texas and Florida, Latinos are voting Republican more than they have in recent times.
Those elections held in Texas this year have been won by Republicans, even in heavily Latino cities/counties. Even in cities won by Dementia Joe just last November. Despite all the illegals Dementia Joe keeps pouring into Texas.
It is worth fighting back when fighting is still possible. You may still lose and end up in the same place, but you can still have self respect
Giving up, getting submissively buried, then having to build up from scratch and regain your country after your enemies have cemented and consolidated their positions takes generations longer and a lot more blood.
But that appears to be a lesson new generations of people have to learn for themselves, since reading history is passé.
I hope you’re right. The actual data though just isn’t reassuring at all. Frankly I think the best thing we have going now for 2024 is harris being such a lame ass. It’s possible there’s a few more GOP victories at that leven, but it’s getting really hard to predict even if she’d lose to Desantis.
That’s I think what upsets most people about Trump losing the most, that one of the worst democrats (or any party really) won in the end. A lot of it is from demographics.
It’s not good when even Ft Worth is going democrat.
Ay, por favor-esta mierda otra vez?
The Majority of Hispanics are Caucasian-look it up at a real archaeological site or two-I just looked into a mirror and I’m still as Caucasian and as Hispanic as I was before I read this article...
