Reports coming out of Israel claim hospitals are being filled with vaccinated people, 95 percent of whom are suffering serious illness being fully vaccinated.
“I understand that most of the patients are vaccinated, even ‘severe’ patients. Exactly. Naturally occurring. Old people, most of them are vaccinated,” Israeli Dr. Kobi Haviv told News Israel 13 Thursday.
“Most of the population is vaccinated, and 90%… 85%-90% of the hospitalizations here are ‘Fully vaccinated’ people.”
Dr. Haviv claims the infections mean the vaccines’ “effectiveness” is fading, possibly setting up a scenario where booster shots emerge as a necessary treatment.
The news out of Israel coincides with similar statistics coming out of Sydney, Australia, where government health officials late last month announced nearly all new Covid hospitalizations involve vaccinated people – except one.

I’d love to see the actual number in US. They quote “99.5% unvaccinated” in hospitals, but none of the reports show specific data. I’ve only seen 2 reports so far with specific numbers and they both showed over 50% of the cases were vaccinated. In Mass it was 74%. I currently have family in FL that are getting hit with COVID and at least 1/2 of them were vaccinated. PS - I use the term vaccinated generically since it’s not really a vaccine.

Why are we surprised? This was all expected if people actually listened to these VAX pushers from the start...no immunity, just reduced symptoms if you get exposed...so no virus protection at all...the downside...spike proteins possibly exploring the rest of your body, and the need for booster shots forever. It’s the biggest Con in human history. Wake up people.

It is early evidence of possible ADE or antibody dependent enhancement, where an imperfect immune response, instead of neutralizing the virus, ends up instead facilitating its ability to infect the hosts cells. It becomes a sort of catalyze for viral infection.
We’ll know soon enough with the Fall flu season shortly upon us and the variants circulating in the vaccinated populations.

If one wants to lie and mislead, one often resorts to percentages. When one looks at the real numbers, not percentages, a far different picture emerges. The article fails to point out that while slightly more than half (56.3%) new cases are vaccinated, the number of cases is down almost 90% (1,118 new cases on July 21 — which is less than a tenth of the 11,934 new cases the country had at its peak on Jan. 27.) The article also fails to note that the number of serious cases per day (73) is a small fraction of the number of serious cases (1000) at the height of the pandemic.

Furthermore only about 60% of the Israeli population is fully vaccinated. This is only a failure of the vaccine in the minds of the anti-vaxxer conspiracy cult.
To be clear, I am saying InfoWars is absolutely lying. It’s crystal clear that they watched the news conference, which means they saw the correction, and chose to run with the claim based on a mistake which was corrected in the very same news conference by the man who made the mistake. So they are 100% liars.
And I am saying I think Jan_Sobieski should call it out that the claim in the InfoWars article about Sydney is false. If I were posting an article that I largely agreed with, but which contained a false statement, I would call it out. I think that’s the most open and honest way to deal with it. But people post articles of fake news to spur discussion, and unless JS makes the Sydney claim directly, I’ll assume that it was either an oversight or this is just another article posted to spur discussion.

I used to think it was blissful ignorance, but after the specific claim she has reposted over and over again - with others providing specific video evidence (to the second of a video) of the person noting it was a mis-statement - it’s intentionally dishonest.

I think she is intentionally dishonest. She’s seen this multiple times, but still pushes the lie. Ignorance is one thing, this is different and intentional.
What good are the vaccinations anyway?
