So they try to turn an unhappy customer into a happy one? Those bastids.
Of course i didn’t actually read past the first 2 sentences.
I still get emails from an amazon seller wanting me to buy some random stuff with the promise of a gift certificate for leaving a review.
I bought a vacuum sealer from them, left an honest 5-star review even stating they were sending me a gift certificate for leaving a review, any review. LOL, I’m still happy with it after a year and it cost next to nothing.
It’s the threat to continuously send email until you respond:
“. . .message concluded, ‘When we do not receive a response, we will assume that you did not see it, and will continue to send emails.’”
It’s happened to me a few times. Give me my money back if I delete a bad review.
Well, somehow getting hold of your personal e-mail address even though Amazon does not provide it (kind of spooky ... what else did they find out about you?) and then harassing you until you withdraw your review isn’t what I’d call turning an unhappy customer into a happy one. There are better ways to satisfy a customer, although this does seem to work pretty well to get rid of all the bad reviews.
We don’t buy from Amazon any more.
There are other, more reputable places to get things online.
And their prices are not even that good anymore. I can often find the product cheaper elsewhere.
