Is low quality just a function of poor seed choice or due to sub optimal Sun that far north?
I doubt there was anything “wrong” with it quality wise, it’s just no longer fresh. They grow with artificial lights, to force hybrids. It’s like certain spices in your kitchen pantry, they lose all or most of the flavors I expect, and eventually it might as well be sawdust. All that high dollar bud turns to “unsaleable”, or at least not the price they were planning on getting. Oops.
They taxed themselves out of business. Nobody could have predicted this. Who could have known?
Dunno. I’m no planter, but I know that the THC level is on the label and I have heard knowledgeable others complain about it.
Alaska grows some great weed. I’m guessing that most commercial grows are done with clones. The degree of hybridization is incredible, these days. Many varieties have characteristics which make them ideal for indoor cultivation. There are varieties that are not dependent on photoperiod to flower, as well.
