U.S. Sen. Todd Young, R-Ind., will be able to say on the campaign trail next year he voted for the $1.2 trillion bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act — before he voted against it.

The Hoosier senator announced Sunday that despite backing the transformative legislation in multiple Senate test votes, Young intends this week to vote "no" on the plan that, if enacted into law, would bring Indiana $6.6 billion in additional highway funding, and hundreds of millions more for bridges, public transportation, water systems, and broadband internet access.

However the Senate voted Sunday evening to end all debate and 18 Republicans voted yes along with 50 Democrats.

A vote for cloture when the bill can actually be stopped in filibuster is a vote for the bill. It’s the only vote that matters. He sold out his voters and is running for cover after the fact. He needs to be voted out in 22.

The old “Vote for cloture but vote against the bill” gambit.

Help get a bill passed then pretend to be against it.

Not fooling anybody.

To say that the closure vote is the only vote that matters is, I believe, a stretch.

That vote was responsible for getting a look at what the demons had in store for us. Getting that info out in the news is what destroyed its chances and got the attention of many Americans.

The method is NOT pretty, but it worked.

Remember, Nasty said, “you won’t know what’s in it till you pass it.” Well, we found out about the infrastructure bill, didn’t we.

Without a good LOOK at the thing, the dims would have played up what the individual states would be “missing” if the Senate did not vote for it.

Hence, Obamacare.

NOW, our guys better NOT vote for disaster or its all over.

OMG, I didn’t know.

The only thing that will save us now is if the AOC squad rejects it.

What fools republican senators are.

He voted Yes during the Filibuster stage.
He should be held accountable.
