Tell your co-worker that most of the ones dying of Covid have low blood levels of Vitamin D. Recommend taking high dose of Vitamin D and a multivitamin daily for the zinc.
Older people who don’t go out much aren’t getting the sunshine that causes the body to make Vitamin D.
And people of color have more problem getting enough Vitamin D if they aren’t out in the sunshine for an hour or two a day, as their melanin blocks the sunshine.
He is a sys admin and indoorsy. I also do IT but get lots of outdoor time on the weekends with yard work, gardening, construction work..I’m pushing 61 though.
