The latest Novavax data confirm that it’s possible to achieve the same efficacy against COVID-19 with a more familiar technology that more people may be inclined to trust. (The mRNA vaccines delivered efficacy rates of 95 and 94 percent against the original coronavirus strain in Phase 3 trials, as compared with 96 percent for Novavax in its first trial, and now 90 percent against a mixture of variants.

“The protein-subunit approach used by Novavax was first implemented for the hepatitis B vaccine, which has been used in the U.S. since 1986. The pertussis vaccine, which is required for almost all children in U.S. public schools, is also made this way. Some of those people who have been wary of getting the mRNA vaccines may find Novavax more appealing.
The Novavax vaccine also has a substantially lower rate of side effects than the authorized mRNA vaccines.”
Novavax seems to be based on traditional vaccine science.

Doesn’t sound like much difference in efficacy to me...
Thanks for the thread. Will continue to do some research on Novavax.
Novavax isn’t mRNA.
Omg yes yes yes! Cuz Our government is just so benevolent and wants everybody to live forever! /////EXTREME SARCASM
I haven’t studied it, but I’m interested in it.
From the article:
In this context, the success of the Novavax vaccine should be A1 news. The recent results confirm that it has roughly the same efficacy as the two authorized mRNA vaccines, with the added benefit of being based on an older, more familiar science. The protein-subunit approach used by Novavax was first implemented for the hepatitis B vaccine, which has been used in the U.S. since 1986. The pertussis vaccine, which is required for almost all children in U.S. public schools, is also made this way. Who cares. They’ve wasted their credibility.
Welcome to the fine print of Obamacare, my friend
From this article, it seems to be protective against variants and has a higher efficacy.
Why are you people so determined to see everyone get the experimental jab?
For a virus with a 99.8% survival rate?
Are you being paid by Big Pharma?
J&J recipient here. Got it in early April. I had hoped to hold out until Novavax was available but it was taking too long. If I need a booster, I’d prefer Novavax.
Similar efficacy but more traditional vaccine science.
Interesting, right?
Even for a booster for the mRNA vaccines.
Might consider it — after it has been on the market 6 months or more and see what kinds of reactions might exist.
Have nearly zero faith in the current 3.
Novavax vaccine injects spike proteins (toxins) directly into your body instead of the mRNA which instructs your body to produce the same. Why would I want spike proteins in my body? They are what is causing blood clots and heart disease.
Does it contain MRC-5?
So they say...
just say no to the spike protein.
“Why are you people so determined to see everyone get the experimental jab?”
I was asking. What you do has no bearing on my life at all.
“Are you being paid by Big Pharma?”
I’m not. Can I sign up? I could use some pin money.
