Mrs. JimRed and I each had it last November. The only lingering effect is a slight reduction of taste and smell.
No one ever said you couldn’t catch Covid once you were vaccinated, and if they did, they’re wrong. The vaccine lowers your risk (significantly) of becoming extremely ill and/or dying from Covid.
Of course...so anyone whom jumps on a cruise ship right now is a bleeding idiot.

Does anybody complain about CV19-related loss of taste and smell anymore? Or have we been media-indoctrinated to unquestioningly ostracize anybody who tests positive on a so-called CV19 test that is possibly either defective, or doesn’t really test for virus?
For all we know, if only “symptom” of CV19 that you have is testing positive on a CV19 test without experiencing loss of taste, natural herd immunity may have everything under control regardless of positive test.

Not necessarily. A PCR Test cannot distinguish between inactive and active virus particles after a certain cycle rate. If the tests they are using have a high rate, the positives can be false.
The ‘tests’ are worthless.
They cannot differentiate between the common cold, influenza and the CoVid-19 viruses, much less the ‘Delta Variant’. Millions of ‘positive’ tests are most likely just plain colds and regular flu........................
Funny, I guess I’ve been lucky. I must have taken 50 of these tests to date, and never had a single one yield a positive result.
