Cuomo is a liability for the Dems looking to hold the governorship, (not just NY, but all over the country). the problem they have is they don’t want a trial on the facts during the 2022 mid terms.
The DA just violated his rights by publicizing the report and declaring him guilty in public, (saying that the claims are all corroborated). If she is not filing charges she should not be publicizing the report. (Don’t get me wrong. I truly would like to see him gone, but the DA and the Special Prosecutor/Investigator should never have been made the report details public until an indictment is unsealed. I don’t even think they have empaneled a Grand Jury).
However, (no matter if Cuomo is guilty or not: he has not been convicted by a jury of his peers), the DA and the Dems will not file charges because this will be a major issue in 2022 if the do. They are trying to force him to resign, (they really do not want the spectacle of an impeachment trial either). CNN is pushing the resign talking point right now. Biden calling for him to resign is part of the pressure. Every Dem and MSM will now put the pressure on him to resign for the good of the party.
