From what I understand, it’s not a vax. It’s more of a treatment which reduces symptoms. Therefore, Covid continues to spread. And mutate.
That’s incorrect. For the variant it was designed for, Pfizer blocks 94% of asymptomatic infections and 97% of symptomatic infections. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/11/pfizer-covid-vaccine-blocks-94percent-of-asymptomatic-infections-and-97percent-of-symptomatic-cases-in-israeli-study.html
There’s conflicting data about how effective the vaccines are at blocking infections in the Delta variant, with estimates anywhere from 39% to 90%. But it’s still blocking a certain level of infections despite the fact that the Delta variant includes structural changes in the protein targeted by the vaccines which render previous antibodies less effective. This is also a problem for people previously infected with COVID-19. Roughly 1 in 6,000 who already had COVID-19 are getting infected with the Delta variant. Thankfully, most of those infections appear to be milder than the first round those people had.
yup, it’s an attenuatior

So the folks that got the jab feel fine and are out and about while sick (Typhoid Marys). But the unvaxed are under the weather and stay home. But it is the unvaxed that are going to be taken from their homes in [box]cars to go get the jab.
