I had the vaccine, but I'm in no way convinced I won't still get COVID.

I do believe that if I get COVID Delta, it won't be so bad.

I’m not sure that the Case Positivity Rate is a valuable stat.

If I’m in a state where the test is required for employment, travel, school, etc., then the rate will be low.

If I’m on a state where you get a test because you suspect that you have COVID, then the rate will be higher.

What am I missing?

The problem is that nobody knows anything. It’s all speculation at this point.

Based on a study from the UK, vaccination greatly reduces the risk of death, but it's not zero by any means. Age and health are still the greatest determinate. Vaccination appears to simply move one down into the risk category of people roughly 20-30 years younger depending on age.
