True. I’m also thinking a couple dozen of those mammoth Chinese container ships filled with troops just happening to show up off the east coast of Taiwan before war is declared might do the trick. Don’t expect the Chi-Coms to telegraph their assault. It will happen all at once and no one will see it coming.
The Chicoms would use Roll-on / Roll off (RO-RO) ships to deliver the troops and vehicles. The are faster to unload and don’t need much in the way of port facilities.
They also have containerized missiles that can turn a container ship into an improvised arsenal ship.
