During a town hall with CNN this week, President Joe Biden said handguns should be banned.
“The idea you need a weapon that can have the ability to fire 20, 30, 40, 50, 120 shots from that weapon, whether it’s a, whether it’s a 9mm pistol or whether it’s a rifle, is ridiculous," Biden said. “I’m continuing to push to eliminate the sale of those things."
But Politifact, which claims to be an objective fact checking organization, rated the claim Biden said he would ban handguns "false."

I read that US soldiers typically carry about 210 rounds.

I love it when ignorant liberals tell me what I "need". What I need is a government that is far less intrusive than this one already is, much less openly intends to be. Enough ammo to take care of that is what I "need".
In Vietnam, we could carry as much, or as little ammo as we wanted. Personal choice. 3 bandoliers was quite common. 7 magazines per bandolier. 20 round magazines. 21 magazines X 20 rounds = 420 rounds. Plus a magazine in the rifle. 440 rounds. Seems like a lot, but an M16 can burn through a lot in a very short time. Don’t know what they do these days.
“Fact Check” is just liberal speak for spinning anything a Democrat say in the best possible light while at the same time spinning anything a conservative says in the worse possible light. In other words - fake news.
Maybe Liberals should first limit toilet paper to 10 sheets per roll... After all, who needs more than that... Then defer to those who have sense before legislating.
Gun control:
First, select a sidearm, rifle, carbine, pistol, revolver, bolt-action, semi-automatic, or whatever, the fits in your hand with arm outstretched, or rises and nestles easily into your shoulder, while allowing your eye to sight through the aiming sights, either through a scope or at a zeroed-in distant target with the aid of the optical notches and crosshairs, then thoroughly familiarize yourself with the actions and the trigger mechanism. Little things like the safety, bolt action (if so equipped), the slide action (if a semi-automatic pistol), and the magazine loading method. Be aware of how the spent cartridge is ejected, and assure that it drops away without striking you or your immediate neighbor.
When it comes to actually using the sidearm for the purpose for which it was designed, first snap off the safety, while keeping the muzzle of the weapon pointed AWAY from anything you do not wish to shoot, but always in a direction that sweeps toward the target. Then select and frame the target, sighting through the aiming device on the weapon, after raising the weapon to firing position. When the muzzle is directed on the target, press firmly on the trigger, while bracing for the recoil. After the discharge, either jack another round in the chamber, or if fed from a magazine, allow the weapon to go through the eject-reload sequence. Repeat the steps until the sumbyitch falls down.
Still ISO that 120 round mag for my Taurus G2C.
Huh? My G2C only came with a pair of 12 round jobs...they told me that’s all they make...lemme know if you find any. Maybe we can round up some of those barrel mags like the thompson used...
Then again you realize you’re looking at 150 bucks to fill the thing...
