No, Black Rifle Coffee Did NOT Go Woke; Founder Responds to Misinformation
PJ Media ^ | 07/20/2021 | Matt Margolis

Black Rifle Coffee is a premium, small-batch, roast-to-order, veteran-owned coffee company based out of Utah. It has seen tremendous success over the past couple of years and has been dubbed the conservative alternative to Starbucks. But social media has been abuzz over the past few days regarding an interview Black Rifle CEO Evan Hafer gave to the New York Times Magazine. In response to the interview, The Post Millennial wrote that Black Rifle “goes woke, throws customers under the bus in bizarre NYT interview.” In addition, Newsmax said the company had called out some of its customers as “a repugnant group of people.”

Conservatives on Twitter expressed outrage.

Black Rifle Coffee is DONE!” tweeted conservative author Nick Adams.

It looks like Black Rifle Coffee, a company which became famous because of conservatives, is now trying to distance themselves from conservatives,” tweeted Brigitte Gabriel, the founder of ACT for America.

Something didn’t sound right about this.

Let’s get the air cleared right away. Black Rifle Coffee’s founder and CEO has spoken out and is disputing how his comments were presented by the New York Times and represented by those reacting to the article, who were led to believe that Black Rifle Coffee bashed conservatives.

Evan Hafer decided to set the record straight regarding the “significant amount of misinformation being put out on the internet” about Black Rifle Coffee and about statements that he has made.

Hafer quickly debunked the notion that he made derogatory remarks about BRCC’s customers or conservatives and then proceeded to explain how the New York Times deliberately twisted his words

Enrique is a dead beat dad and STILL an FBI Informant. But Hafer is also a tool.

Dead on correct, and notably you have been here a shorter time than the noob fatman (start date 2005, and you.. 2014).

iow long enough to recognize the true trolls and paid berserkers on FR. Lurker since 1998 which is a formative year for FR.

Just for fun some FReepers ought to list the known front companies for the derp state. The old ones are well identified and still are cash machines for illicit protected funny money for them: Evergreen Intl. Air/Container shipping, Southern Air Transport,Brewster Jennings & Associates, KQM Aviation, Booz Allen & Hamilton, the olde BCCI, Battelle (which incidentally runs the Ft. Detrick,MD National Bioweapons Analysis and Countermeasures Center started by Fauci).

Why would it be surprising that a “retired military” crappy coffee “boutique” company (there’s just NOT enough freaking coffee roasters or private label secondary marketers??)- is a front company for stateside political manipulation by the effin beee eye at a minimum trying to sift out the “extremists” of choice. Not our real enemies, no not the imbed muzzie brotherhood and society of obamaumao the first’s Alinsky/Cloward Piven operations, begun in 2007.

Yep. The oldest Alinsky trick in the book — sow discord and distrust among conservatives and let them destroy each other in the process under reason of suspecting the genuineness of their conservatism.

“I thought this was months ago.”

That was an earlier episode when they stepped on their wang over the Kyle Rittenhouse situation.

“Tarrio was arrested Jan. 4 after returning to D.C., prosecutors said. A search of Tarrio during the arrest found he had two high-capacity firearm magazines with the insignia of the Proud Boys.”

I hate to get all conspiracy-theorist, but his arrest on Jan 4, prior to the rally:

* Gets the “Proud Boys” attendance in the media leading up to the rally.

* Gets Tarrio out of the picture, allowing him to avoid direct participation.

And the romney connection “a Utah company” of ex-spooks or soda jerks for the spooks. This is a poorly run version of this— really, aligning with NYTs and blatant trackable doublespeak from this jacksnipe. Very easy pickings, these people are no where near as capable or expert as the OSS veterans and those they trained (as in the Reagan years).

Not buying it. CEO is ex-CIA. They’re just marketing to conservatives.

Fatman is just another drama queen. I normally applaud or boo depending on the performance. He’s not very convincing.

It’s a 3 boo performance.

I’m a little confused...I told them to shove it about a year ago...as I recall, they weighed in in support of the idiot black lives matter nutters.

Seems the idiot head of BRCC made some mindless statement in support of poor blacks who were being “systematically targeted by white police officers.”

I forget what set me off, but I told them to stuff it.

At best they are just marketing. At worst they are collecting names and addresses for other purposes.

I don’t buy their coffee. Nor would I knowingly drink it. Even if it was free.

Excellent points. They protect their own.

I have no bone in the BRCC fight, as I roast my own coffee. If I didn't I wouldn't buy from them though.

Right? I’ll believe it when the lawsuit is filed. So far….nada. If the NYT twisted his words, isn’t that a pretty good case for defamation?
