Arizona Senate President Karen Fann, a Republican, said the state Senate doesn’t have the ability to recall electors for the Nov. 3, 2020, election, after a fellow Republican lawmaker called for new elections.
Fann told One America News Network (OANN), which has been covering the audit of Maricopa County, that the upper chamber has the ability to provide auditors with the materials they need—including through the use of subpoenas—but the certification of electors is a different matter.
“The Senate body—we do not have the authority to do that. So, this is what we have said, and I want to make this very clear on the record,” the Republican state leader said on July 16.
Fann’s comments came as former President Donald Trump issued a statement declaring that the audit revealed there were irregularities and fraud that would have swayed the election in his favor last year. On July 15, the Senate held a hearing in the midst of a months-long review carried out by Florida-based tech firm Cyber Ninjas and teams told lawmakers they discovered discrepancies.
Doug Logan, CEO of Cyber Ninjas, told senators that auditors couldn’t find any record of Maricopa County sending more than 74,000 mail-in ballots and also discovered that around 18,000 people voted, but were taken off voter rolls “soon after the election.” He also noted that there were “11,326 people who were not on the voter rolls on Nov. 7, 2020, but appeared on the rolls on Dec. 4, 2020, and 3,981 people who voted after registering after Oct. 15, 2020.”

It is well settled law by th US Supreme Court. Fraud vitiates everything. You cannot commit fraud and then after the fact stand on the fact that I get to keep it all because there is no remedy. The law abhors fraud, a fundamental principal of equity law. And, for those unaware, equity law was designed to correct problems in the common law to create remedies for obvious wrongs when there was no “legal” remedy.
Audits work for banks and IT and inventory and the IRS.
It goes for people’s taxes. Not righting this wrong is the ultimate disenfranchisement.
Other elections have been overturned by courts.
Here the State itself has shown itself to be in violation of consent of the governed. This shall not stand.
I would bet you $1000, with the loser donating to the winner’s favorite charity, that on Jan 19, 2025, a Democrat will be President. But you’d never take that bet.

There is no 'next time'. (There were rules in place that were flagrantly ignored the last time; what could possibly encourage you to think that they won't be flagrantly ignored the next time?)
If it can be demonstrated that Biden was elected through nothing more than widespread fraud, and if there really is nothing that can be done about this, then the Constitution of the United States is nothing more than a fine art print to hang up on the wall of your office; it means nothing more than this.
She is absolutely NOT a McCain republican. She is trying to keep the waters calm.
I’ve thought about this before. While they may not be able to void the election for President, they should be able to redo the election for Senate/House races. Just have a new election to fill the remainder of the term, much like if a member of Congress were to resign or die in office.

Do any states have a law that electors chosen in the general election can’t be recalled?
If they can’t be recalled this seems to fly in the face of the 38 or so states that have mandatory post-election audits.
Isn’t the simplist solution to hold a special election for that state? same as they would for a run-off against a tied contest?
