Good evening, Michael...I lived near the intersection of South St and Woodruff for a LONG time.

South Street works for me. LOL! And we won’t tell anyone.

South Street and Woodruff? That was the site of Dutch Village, a shopping center in the 1950's that looked like a Dutch village--probably inspired by the large number of Dutch dairy farmers in the area at the time.

Fedco, a department store with restricted membership, where we shopped all the time in the late fifties and early sixties, was located there. It later outgrew Dutch Village and moved across the freeway to South and Pioneer.
