What I’ve been hearing locally is that the 9-11 operator will decide who to send. And if the caller forgets to tell the operator that the raging man has a gun....I say no more.

The equivalent of calling the Suicide Hot Line and being put on hold.

Lets say a Mental Health Professional gets sent out there and the person is armed and or highly violent, then what? you could not pay me enough to do that $hit.

I see a shortage of 911 dispatchers in Chicago in the future.
