Trump Republicans protested at the Michigan Republican Party’s headquarters in Lansing, Michigan back in May. They were upset that the Executive Director of the State Party, Jason Roe, had made repeated dismissive and NeverTrump statements to GOP groups. Candidates and activists wanted to get the attention of the new Party Chairman to fire Roe.
In May, Roe was at a Michigan political event where he got into arguments with several Republican activists and candidates for office about the Trump legacy and about allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 election.
Roe told conservatives they were idiots for supporting Trump, idiots for believing in voter fraud, and that the only way forward was by supporting moderate Republican candidates such as the many he has worked for in the past, including moderate California Bush-ally James Rogan, who lost his re-election to notorious Adam Schiff.
Michigan Republicans fired former State Chair Laura Cox, who mismanaged the 2020 elections in the battleground state and also failed to do anything serious to protect the integrity of the vote. Activists were forced to show up and fight at the TCF Center in Detroit when the ongoing voter fraud became apparent, the Michigan Republican state party was largely absent.

You're fired!
Trump did not fire enough Deep State Bureaucrats.
Boy isnt that the truth
Trump could of fired every high level government official and randomly replace them with people in the phone book. We would be better off today.
The only way forward is to support losers. At least we have it out of a RINO's own mouth. Nothing but a bunch of losers. Trump showed them how to win. They got tired of even thinking about what winning would mean for them. So tired that they decided losing was what they wanted to do, right out of the block by defeating the repeal of Obamacare. From their they went from weakness to weakness and loss to loss, with each step carefully plotting how to secure the next defeat.
What I don't understand about this particular loser is why he resigned, cutting the losses that he can secure for his precious party, rather than trying to double down on losing, like these worthless losers all do.
Got a long way to go, most of the party apparatus is still dominated by Bush League Republicans.
The losers would then have impeached Trump, impeached Pence and claimed victory when Nanzi became office - a triump of losing so ginormous only these losers could think about it.
One down... hundreds more to go..
We see you
This is great news.
Yeah...
And don’t get me started about the lack of response to whitler draconian lockdown..
The DS Lilliputians had Trump well tied down...
The little brained lliputians thought that once Trump was gone they could go back to running things the way the wanted. I don’t know who is pulling the strings these day, but it is certainly not those bureaucratic hacks. Law of unintended consequences bit em hard.
A lot of Democrats run as Republicans because it’s the only way they can get elected. It’s up to the voters to do their due diligence and elect solid conservatives. Once a politician has a record, voters can determine whether or not that politician is a Republican or a RINO. Voters need to stop reelecting RINOs.
They rigged the 2018 MI “election”, too - and Snyder let them get away with it...
People like Roe are why the Republican Party is such a mess and may cease to exist in the not too distant future. From recent news, you can add Rona McCaniels to that group too

"Largely absent" describes the allegedly Republican legislature.
I’m not a party guy anymore, but still have some good contacts there, including some both grassroots and establishment folks. Everyone I talked to said Roe was a bad fit and talked down to people. You can’t do that in a volunteer based organization.
