The wives of Juan Peron and the destruction of Argentina

Dr. Jill is the de facto leader of America now.

As it turns out, it’s not that unusual in the annals of history. There are quite a few examples of the wives of political leaders being the real power, while the husband retains the trappings of the office.

Unfortunately many of these situations have ended disastrously. These worst case scenarios seem to feature a similar outline: a younger, attractive, second or third wife, with no political background of her own becomes enamored with the power of the supreme leader’s office and uses her husband’s position to attempt to reorder society. Frequently these woman are fixated on social justice issues, feminism, radical redistributionism and the other far left causes.

Eva Peron is a classic example from our hemisphere. Born in poverty in a village in rural Argentina she moved to the capitol to seek a career as an actress. In 1944, at age 25, she met Colonel Juan Peron at a charity event. They were married a year later. Juan Peron was age 50 at the time. A year after the wedding, in 1946, he was elected to the first of three terms as President of Argentina. The opposing party was the far-left Radical Civic Union, a self-avowed Socialist party. To his right was the National Autonomous Party, a right wing party which had ruled from 1874 to 1916.

There are a bunch of pictures in the article, including this one:

Eva Peron, ‘Dr. Jill’ Biden, Isabel Peron – three ladies who achieved political power through marriage to a powerful man.

What kind of power does a woman achieve by being married to an old, demented POS who stole an election?

I’d be tempted to include ‘that American Woman’, Wallis Simpson, 1936, in this loose grouping. For that matter, perhaps the CURRENT ‘American Woman’, Meghan Markle, that snagged erstwhile Prince Harry of Windsor.

This article is giving Jill too much credit. She is little better than a caregiver to her demented husband.

Susan Rice and others in the Nursing Home known as the White House are the real powers behind the throne.

Not a fan of Jill Biden, but I think her power in her marriage is not her fault. Blame Joe for his determination to run for president when he is in early dementia, plus the crazy leftists plus the media who want power so badly they pushed the Biden candidacy upon our nation.

Madonna did play Eva Peron...It is an old movie...I never watched it from start to finish however...I have to say that Madonna did a good job of singing in that film...

Which actress should play Jill Biden?

?????

I don’t think Joe had any choice in the matter.

With the Ukrainian government looking into the Obama administration meddling there the democratsame had to run joe.

The Democrats could afford too have their dirty laundry exposed.

The writer of the article could have also used Nestor Kirchner dying in office and being succeeded by his wife Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner as yet another Argentine example, as the Kirchners were cut from similar cloth as the Perons.

The most obvious example is Elena Ceausescu, complete with a fake Doctorate degree.

It wouldn’t upset me terribly if their similarities continued through to the conclusion. 😏

That’s why my name for Jill is “Codoi”, you can look up the source of that name.

Edith Wilson.
Throughout the war and the rest of Wilson’s second term, Edith was constantly at her husband’s side and her presence irritated and frustrated his advisors. Wilson enjoyed having her sit in the Oval Office while he conducted business, which led to accusations that she had undue influence over who was allowed access to the president. This was exacerbated when Wilson suffered a stroke in October 1919 while touring the nation to promote his plan for the League of Nations, an international organization designed to prevent further conflicts like World World I. During his recovery, Edith assumed the role of “steward” for Wilson, screening his mail and official papers. In some cases, she was accused of signing Wilson’s signature without consulting him, though she insisted this was not the case and blamed the accusations on her husband’s political opponents.
Edith Wilson passed away in 1961.
