I have no special problem with Putin. No one is perfect and some are less so than others. But Putin is not the problem that is destroying our country. The media always waves Putin like a red flag we should charge at. He’s just a distraction.

I often think about Abraham Lincoln who said the best way to handle an enemy was to make him a friend. His Secretary of War (name unrecalled)had been a bitter political enemy. When asked why he named him Secretary of War, Lincoln answered, “he was the best man for the position.” By the end of the war the Secretary was a close friend and confidant. (memory is a little fuzzy, but you get the drift)
