Can they implode a building w/o traces of explosive or wires etc? Of course the FBI can use remotes?
Stop with this stupid crap
The Engineer's report from 2018 says it all - cheap concrete possibly without reinforcing Steel. CORROSION on the main structural members, possible other shortcuts in Construction. - NO MAGIC put those aluminum hats back in the drawer
Good question, I don’t know.
I’m wondering if we are ever going to know the truth about what has happened? I keep saying the concrete demo I have seen over the years does not have the same look.
I saw video of trade centers with what could be charges going off before collapse.
Also the much shorter Trade Tower across the street (#7), mysteriously collased. https://wtc7.net/
Here is a video supplied to me (can’t vouch for authenticity or anything) that shows a light flash in the Florida building that collapsed.

To answer your question, implosion is a complex process...you have to study the design and how a building has shifted/aged over time, determine the primary and secondary supports, and what order to fire charges so that the shifting load is controlled on the way down. Lots of prep-work to remove parts of the building is involved as well...just look at some of CDI’s videos on YouTube. It’s not as simple as planting a few blocks of C4 or TNT.
If it’s a pre-stressed concrete beam, I understand they can “explode” when they fail. (Those captive stresses gotta go somewhere!)
Theory I’ve heard is that the structure had a lopsided/uneven distribution of the weight load, due either to poor design/construction from decades ago or the settlement issues that have been mentioned, a support or load-transferring connection (e.g. beam to column) failed (possibly due to both degradation and overload), and that shift of load stresses caused a chain of failures that brought the collapse.
