I was on a forum not to long ago about Corporate recruiters who are admitting they are starting to throw the resumes of applicants away if they come from a certain university and certain degree and crap like this further more determined to do so.

While the article may have all sort of red flags, that is actually a commonly used term in the sports recruiting world. When describing a student during the summer, the word "rising" is used so one knows what class a person is in.
So in an article about some offensive lineman, and he is called a "rising junior", the reader would know that he will be a junior when school starts this fall.

This Wency Suo is not the only student at this high school. 85% on up of the students have parents who don’t want CRT indoctrination for their children. And if lots of student want CRT, tough luck! Their parents pay the taxes and what they say is what must be this school’s policy. Fire the schoolboard or vote these lefty maggots out!
TO REPEAT - The parent pay the taxes that fund these lefty teacher’s salaries. None have missed a paycheck during Covid! The parents are who fund the entire local school system, so shut the f up and teach honestly. Or find work at another school system
What you say is true, but this article is about three STATE level meetings led by the Lieutenant Governor. It is way above the local school board.

If nobody is actually teaching it, why are they trying so hard to make sure they can continue teaching it?

They all know perfectly well what it is. It’s been developed for well over 50 years. It is pure Marxism and class warfare.
The term rising is an attempt to solve the confusion about which grade a student is in when they are between grades.
For example, it's June, school is out for the summer. If you just graduated from Middle School (eighth grade) what grade are you in now? Answer, you are a rising ninth grader. A rising high school junior is a student between the 10th and 11th grades. You'll be a junior in the coming school year. Assuming the school isn't shutdown again.
