Rancher who led armed occupation of federal refuge announces run for Idaho governor [Bundy]

Ammon Bundy, a leader of the 2016 armed occupation at a federal refuge, has announced his candidacy for governor of Idaho.

Bundy, in a video posted on Saturday, said he is running for governor because he is “sick and tired of all of this political garbage just like you are.”

“I’m tired of our freedoms being taken from us, and I’m tired of the corruption that is rampant in our state government,” he added.

The Bundy’s are thieves

That is a statement you are not going to be able to prove.

There is plenty of proof of the out of control BLM going after not only the Bundy’s but many others in Southern UT and NV for trumped up violations of Federal statutes.

The Bundy’s were exonerated in Federal Court after suffering two years in Jail for alleged crimes. Apparently you are not aware of all of the Federal actions against ranchers all over the West. I suggest you begin with the Sage Brush Rebellion, and keep going.

There are two sides to every story and particularly in this case. You sound like the typical accuser using the government side of the story only. The murder of Lavoy Finicum alone is enough proof that there is more to this story.

Frankly now seven years later Covid 19 should be all the proof anyone needs to point out just how out of control every Federal bureaucratic agency is. The Fed is not your friend, and is only interested in locking up we the people to keep us out of their hair so they can get on with the literal destruction of the United States of America as viewed by the founders, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.

So I asked my cousin who lives in Idaho what he thought.........

It is because I am very familiar with what they went through to pay properly and were rejected time and again. Most of that info has been locked up in subscription access to the many stories written on the subject.

I just look at who their accusers are. In general it is the only thing the deep state folks harp on. Their failure to pay without knowing the whole story. Well buddy, they all made it through the Federal Court system didn’t they.

Perhaps a bit of study on the reign of Special Agent Dan Love formerly of the BLM would help in your search for truth on the subject. Meanwhile how many ranchers still exist on so called Federal land in South East Nevada?

If the info is correct, The Bundy’s are the last. All others having been driven off by Federal actions against them despite paying for grazing rights.

All of the above doesn’t begin to address another important issue. That would be the Federal ownership of 84.9 percent of Nevada land. Contemplate for a moment what that means for a State to be able to support itself. States East of the Mississippi have less than 5 percent of their land in Federal hands.

At the moment you appear to be a deep state devote parroting the talking points that one could say were thrown out of Federal Court along with the case against the Bundy’s.

Fact is..He couldnt pay the fee. He is broke and used the excuse he did to try and avoid payment.

Funny thing all this. It was one Mormon family against another-the Reids. Thats what the whole affair was about. Harry Reid wanted that are for one of his scams and the Bundys got in the way.

And it you cared to check back on the post where I said that the Government screwed this whole thing up like they did with Wacko, you find out that I am not the government shill you accused others of being. What they did to the Hammonds was criminal, what they did to Randy Weaver was criminal.
What they did to the Bundys was also criminal, except it was Clivens excuse to NOT pay those grazing fees that made the whole thing come to a head.
In short, all this was, was a feud between Bundy and the Harry Reid cabal.

When Bundy had everything on his side, he opened his big mouth and proved he was a shyster.

BTW, Daniel Love was FIRED from the agency over this. Should have been thrown in jail.

Oh and those grazing fees? They are in place of paying property taxes if the rancher were to own that land-which is a lease.
Take that land, turn it over to that rancher-Bundy, and let him pay property taxes on it. See how long before he defaults. That is what should be done all across the USA. NO MORE FEDERAL LANDS.

now, about public ownership of lands, more the merrier. I greatly appreciate that I can go almost anywhere is western states onto public lands. Try that in Virginia or New York where it is all private and posted.

He in effect violated a lease by not paying the fees. Like I said in the post above yours. Turn that land over to them and let them pay property taxes and see what happens. Then he would claim that property taxes are illegal somehow.

The fact is, he was broke, couldnt pay the fees/lease and used this for an excuse.

But, the way the feds handled it was as usual as criminal.
Read up on what they did to Wayne Hage. One of the most criminal acts of federal abuse ever committed in this are of the country. They actually set him up to go after him.

In short, Cliven is guilty of failing to uphold his end of a lease-grazing fees. The feds failed to follow proper procedure and sent in the thugs and figured in getting away with it. It was nothing more than a feud between the Bundys and the Reid cabal. Reid wanted that land for a scam he hatched-just like the scams he tried to hatch down here by Laughlin NV.
But that is a incident that would take a long time to explain.
