The VP doesn’t certify anything. He presided over a joint session of Congress where CONGRESS votes to certify the election results. That’s exactly what they did — by overwhelming margins. The VP has no role in that certification other than to cast a tie-breaking vote in the Senate.

He at least could have called in sick ... and he could have acted like he had a spine in the tussle on Capitol Hill, instead of bitching about what all he had done for President Trump.
I would note how the ‘holy people’ have found in our Constitution a right to kill babies and perverts are entitled to marriage ... your boy Biden is swinging the death nail to ‘we the people’... The devils in Rome swoon ... love it, live it, and stop playing like you are above the rest of US.

His job not to COUNT the votes, his job is to CERTIFY the results.
Look up the LEGAL meaning of ‘certify’.
It has a specific meaning in legal terms.
