Well, inflammation of the brain can be dealt with by anti-inflammatories.

You’re trying to tell me that in 50 years there’s been no significant medical advances that would prevent measles from causing blindness or deafness?

I was 7 and my siblings were younger.

Measles were making the rounds in those days and I didn’t know and have never met anyone who went blind or deaf from it, nor have I ever heard of anyone who died of it either. Not then and not now.

Measles is a pernicious disease. No advancements have been made except the vaccine

Nothing stops the virus. Once it’s going it must run it’s course. It kills. It devastates.

I don’t care about your anecdotal “I ain’t seen one”. I have. Had a friend die of measles. Know two who lost all auditory response and one who went blind
