Here is the full statement by current CDC Senior Scientist on Vaccine-Autism questions: Dr. William Thompson. update on the story, soon.
I regret that my [CDC] coauthors and I omitted statistically significant information in our 2004 article published in the Journal of Pediatrics.
My primary job duties while working in the immunization safety branch from 2000 to 2006 were to lead or colead three major vaccine safety studies. The MADDSP MMR-Autism Cases
Control Study was being carried out in response to the Wakefield Lancet study that suggested an association between the MMR vaccine and an autism-like health outcome. There were several major concerns among scientists and consumer advocates outside the CDC in the fall of 2000 regarding the execution of the Verstraeten study.
One of the important goals that was determined upfront in the spring of 2001 before any of these studies started was to have all three protocols vetted outside the CDC prior to the start of the analyses so that consumer advocates could not claim that we were presenting analyses that suited our own goals and biases.
We hypothesized that if we found statistically significant effects at either 18- or 36-month thresholds, we would conclude that vaccinating children early with MMR vaccine could lead to autism-like characteristics or features.
The remaining four coauthors all met and brought a big garbage can into the meeting room and reviewed and went through all the hard copy documents that we had thought we should discard and put them in a huge garbage can.
However, because I assumed it was illegal and would violate both FOIA and DOJ requests, I kept hard copies of all documents in my office, and I retained all associated computer files.
I believe we intentionally withheld controversial findings from the final draft of the Pediatrics paper.

Because the disease already is affecting them. No way to stop that. Once you’ve got it it has to run it’s course
“Tuskegee Syphilis Study 2.0”
More like finding transcripts of the Wannsee Conference.
You should already know. It’s a fast moving virus that has no known cure. Palliative care is all that’s available usually better done at home due to its very contagious nature
Blindness comes from swelling of the brain. If the virus gets tangled up in the auditory nerves it can wipe out hearing
You said you had it. At what age?? It is very dangerous for children. Deaths do happen

Maybe you’ll trust the Mayo Clinic
CDC scientist is linking MMR vaccine to autism? Whoa!
Well, inflammation of the brain can be dealt with by anti-inflammatories.
You’re trying to tell me that in 50 years there’s been no significant medical advances that would prevent measles from causing blindness or deafness?
I was 7 and my siblings were younger.
Measles were making the rounds in those days and I didn’t know and have never met anyone who went blind or deaf from it, nor have I ever heard of anyone who died of it either. Not then and not now.
Did you bother to read anything at the link from Mayo
Measles is a pernicious disease. No advancements have been made except the vaccine
Nothing stops the virus. Once it’s going it must run it’s course. It kills. It devastates.
I don’t care about your anecdotal “I ain’t seen one”. I have. Had a friend die of measles. Know two who lost all auditory response and one who went blind
Well, actually...think about it:
Of all the stupid-simple things, they couldn't even be honest about the testing, choosing instead to err on the side of false positives via excessive cycle thresholds...
...until it no longer suited their needs, using the 'cases' to push an agenda, just like "died with COVID" vs. "died of COVID," presumptive postives, modified data collection for adverse events, false promotion of wholly-experimental drugs lacking FDA approval, etc...
...with the wide acceptance of lockdowns and masking the fear mongering propaganda was demonstrably successful.
They met the same standards of 'science' as in the promotion of 'climate change', standards of obfuscation, misdirection & fabrication set by IPCC and Michael Mann...
...and since lefties wrote the definition of peer review for Wikipedia:
Peer review is the evaluation of work by one or more people with similar competencies as the producers of the work. It functions as a form of self-regulation by qualified members of a profession within the relevant field.
...and those supporting the echo chamber are equally qualified (and incompetent) with like motivations in the relevant field...
...doesn't what they did meet the very definition of 'peer review'???
But if the punishment for what the FBI/DOJ/FISA did to law enforcement (i.e. no confidence/discredited) reflects what these scientists & bureaucrats (Fauxi et al) have done to their profession...
Yeah/that.
We can add the CDC to the list of agencies to defund.
Irony:

“Science is the new medieval church, those who are popes of it censor at their will”
More irony:
“The scientific and medical communities now have as much credibility as Brian Stelter or Nicolle Wallace. And deservedly so. Once highly trusted, scientific and medical experts have taken a big step backwards, with trustworthiness now approaching cable news or Congress levels. And they are unlikely to recover from their self-inflicted wounds.”
(or the FBI/DOJ)

I suspect the reason they pulled it was that the use of the drug may have proved that the cause of the autism in these groups was something manmade and not caused by genetic chance. It was really a tested antidote to what caused the autism and the results were so unnerving to the elite, avoid lawsuits and any cost crowd, that they bottled up the drug.
He’s saying too many vaccines causes retardation, not autism as many believe.
Isn’t that the truth!!!!
They have destroyed their own credibility and integrity and then mock us for being ”science deniers”.
