Rumors that China's top "spy catcher" has defected to the United States and is giving the Biden information about the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the leak of the coronavirus, if proven true, could "even lead to the fall of the Communist Party," China expert Gordon Chang told Newsmax on Saturday.
"This is so explosive it could lead to a chain of events, which would sever relations between China and the United States," Chang, the author of "The Coming Collapse of China," told Newsmax's "The Count," adding Bejing appears to be in a panic over the reports.
The reports claim Chinese official Dong Jingwei, a vice-minister who took over responsibility for the country's counter-intelligence three years ago, reportedly flew from Hong Kong to the United States in February with his daughter, reports South Asia news service ANI quoting SpyTalk, a newsletter covering U.S. intelligence, defense, and foreign affairs policy.
There has been no official comment from China, but according to SpyTalk, Dong reportedly gave the Biden administration information that caused it to change its stance on the Wuhan laboratory and to reconsider the potential the coronavirus that caused the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic came from the lab, rather than from nature.
If the rumors turn out to be true, Dong's defection would be the highest level in the history of the People's Republic of China.
Han Lianchao, a former Chinese ministry official who defected after the 1989 massacre at Tiananmen Square, said the issue of Dong's defection was brought up during the summit between China and the United States in Anchorage earlier this year.
Han, citing an unnamed source, tweeted China's Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, and Yang Jiechi, who is in charge of the Communist Party's foreign affairs, demanded of Secretary of State Antony Blinken that Dong be returned...

They “demanded” that Dong be returned. Ordinarily would dismiss this rant by communists as an expression of frustration and outrage. In the past they would have no real hope that a defector, if Dong is actually a defector and not part of a deceptive plot, would actually be returned. Yet the Chinese have much detrimental information on the Bidens and many sympathizers and supporters among the Leftist cabal that has seized power in America. Dong just might end up being “returned”.

A scandal will topple a regime with a police force alone that’s a half million strong? Ridiculous. Did the excellent and highly regarded Hong Kong police resist orders to beat people in the streets? No. The rest of China’s well indoctrinated police will beat any protests into failing. Like the dozens of scandals involving collapsed dams and buildings have eventually subsided, any other scandal will be dealt with. Two things might bring down the party and neither of them is pretty. A famine wherein because of war no one will send any food to China...and, an internal power struggle where someone who is about to lose but has access to nuclear weapons. Xi executed over 100 generals, all of whom had been promoted into their position by the previous leader. When Xi gets replaced any general would see the writing on the wall and take action and it would be the fastest collapse of a great power in history.
Read the previous posts for this thread. It simply confirms that the citizens of this country know that the US media don’t have the stones to tell the truth, much less our gov’t. What a sad commentary that most of us don’t trust our own gov’t to act in our best interest instead of their own. I don’t know about everyone else, but I had hope when Trump was in office. Now, since Biden doesn’t even know where he is, some “un-elected” person or persons is guiding this Republic and this does not bode well.
Because there are U.S. Corporations and politicians implicated this is dead. It is huge but they will kill it.
