The View went off the rails Thursday morning when co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Meghan McCain got into a verbal spat about President Biden lashing out at a CNN reporter the day before. McCain called Biden out for his bad behavior for snapping that Kaitlan Collins was 'in the wrong business' after she asked him if he could work with Russian President Vladimir Putin after their sit down. Biden later apologized but complained journalists never ask him a 'positive question.'
'Part of my problem,' McCain said, 'is that just because Trump was so bad, it doesn't absolve Biden's bad behavior. What he did was 100 percent Trumpy. If Trump had done that, we would be screaming at the top of our lungs in one way or another,' adding that Biden usually gets a free-pass from reporters, but 'it is in no one's best interest to treat him like it's state TV'.
Whoopi hit back that she's never heard Trump apologize to a reporter during his four years in office.
'With all due respect, I don't care,' McCain responded as the discussion began to heat up. 'I don't care if he is apologizing. He just embarrassed himself, and he looks like Trump.'

Whoopi fired back: ‘I don’t care that you don’t care. Just hear what I’m saying.’ McCain then yelled back: ‘Well I don’t care that you don’t care, Whoopi, so we’re even.’
‘Well then, good, Meghan then you can be how you always are,’ Goldberg spat back, to which McCain replied: ‘You could be how you always are.’
The show cut to commercial break at that point, and when it returned the two co-hosts apologized to each other.
(Um, please remind me, how old are there children/women?)
Thursday’s verbal spar came just one day after President Joe Biden ended a series of questions about his summit with Putin by yelling at Collins. She had asked him why he was so confident Putin would change his behavior and agree to work with the United States after years of bad-blood between the two countries and Putin’s past actions.
‘I’m not confident I’ll change his behavior,’ Biden replied. ‘Why do you do this all the time? When did I say I was confident?’ he continued. ‘What I said was - let’s get it straight. I said what will change their behavior is if the rest of the world reacts to them and it diminishes their standing in the world.’
‘I’m not confident of anything,’ the president said. ‘I’m just stating the facts.’
(Boy, Biden’s last sentence sums it up yes? ‘I’m not confident of anything!’ :<(
But he also claimed reporters only ask him negative questions.
‘To be a good reporter you gotta be negative. You gotta have a negative view of life, ok, it seems to me - the way you all - you never ask a positive question,’ Biden told one of the reporters on the tarmac at the airport in Geneva Wednesday before boarding Air Force One for a flight back home to Washington.
i’m sorry... but PRESIDENT Trump was never ‘that bad’
unless you’re a progressive commie hellbent on destroying the country... then yes, he undermined everything you stood for and would seem very ‘bad’
“Whoopi hit back that she’s never heard Trump apologize to a reporter during his four years in office.”
Trump means never having to say you’re sorry!
The reporters were the ones who should have apologized to Trump.
“unless you’re a progressive commie hellbent on destroying the country....”
Yes, that’s exactly what they are.
Should be a coined phrase :)
Cat fight!
Progressive women are very unbalanced, and so, easily unhinged.
Because they have no core values. It’s simply whatever is on their own, current agenda. That’s what is most important to them.
If their values were based on Christ, they’d agree on most everything, but clearly that is not the case.
(Um, please remind me, how old are these children/a$$holes?)
There, fixed it!
LOL! Thank you :) I really used to like Whoopi when I was young and she stuck to acting in funny movies. Then, like most liberals, she decided to speak outside of a movie script and it just ruined it all for me ;>)
The intellectual depth of a mud puddle.
Hah, your post reminded me of one of my favorite Trump anecdotes, related in the book “Let Trump Be Trump” by his former campaign manager Cory Lewandowski.
There were two women in the media team of Trump’s campaign who were involved in a contentious love triangle, and things came to a head right before a campaign stop. One of the women was one of his speechwriters, I think, the other was a media person.
The speechwriter got so upset at the other woman involved with the same guy she was, that she had to leave the campaign event and didn’t see Trump give his speech. When she returned to the plane, Trump was sitting in his favorite spot they always had set up for him on the plane. It was a place where they placed a bunch of newspapers and magazines for him to read, and when he sat down, nobody would disturb him.
I guess it was his “quiet time”.
So he sits down, and the sulking speechwriter comes aboard and walks by Trump, who pauses reading asks her how she liked his speech, and without much elaboration she says she didn’t see it. Trump didn’t display much reaction, and went back to reading his newspaper, held up to hide his face.
The other woman in the love triangle boarded Trump Force One soon thereafter, and two women began to argue with each other.
The argument got louder and louder, and everyone began glancing nervously at both Trump reading his paper and the two women who were approaching the shouting stage, knowing Trump didn’t want any distractions while he read his papers.
As the spat reached a crescendo, Trump lowers the paper and yells: “Cat Fight!” And just as quickly, goes back to reading the newspaper!
Gosh I miss Trump as our POTUS :_(
Good God, what is she doing with her right hand there?????
And he looks like he is going to touch her too...
My eyes!
