Another correct word that wifey and I don’t happen to use is small arms. Do you ever personally use the term “sidearm” for your every day handgun? I really like the sound of that. Wifey might like it too, as she wants to say what she wants to say without thinking about it.
We also use “American express” as a code word. There was an ad campaign said “Don’t leave home without it.” “Honey you got your American Express?” The deeper meaning is something like I have some fear feeling right now but you are keeping me safe aren’t you?” I not only reassure her safety but will wink or hug her or do some affectionate gesture you get the idea.
Correct me, I would also include edged weapons under side arms. Yes?
