This will be the wedge used to first downplay July 4th and then eliminate it altogether as the Destruction of the United States under the communist Democrat insurrection continues.

Federal employees can never get enough federal holidays.

They don’t do much work when they are working, either.

It appears to be a Federal Holiday. The origination of the event started in Texas... is that what you’re referring too?

“it is specific to Tx you fools!!”

From the linked article:

“WASHINGTON — The Senate passed a bill Tuesday that would make Juneteenth, or June 19th, a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.”

Umm...

Better go back and read it again. LOL! It’s already on a lot of calendars. Besides, didn’t some location just the other day decide to just post “DAY OFF” with no title attached to any ‘holidays’ so no one would be butt hurt? The clockwise spiral continues unabated.

Something else to celebrate the Republican Party being on the right side of history. The overwhelming numbers of Union soldiers who were present at Juneteenth were Republicans. Abolishing slavery was a Republican policy. Meanwhile the Democrats were doing things like founding the KKK.

Don’t forget that Harriet Tubman, soon to be on the $20 dollar bill, was a Republican too.
